February’s Showcase at Scarlet and Grey brings back a bit of nostalgia for me. What an amazingly captive audience we had. The songwriters deserved it. With a group average of 7.55, it was our highest to date.
Congratulations to the Winners of the Showcase: Nick Wilkinson in 1st, Craig Heath in 2nd, and Joe Byler in 3rd. The scores were very close with Joey Hendrickson, Jericho Foster, and Matt Brent placing above an “8” average score as well. It takes a lot of nerve to get up in front of dead-quiet room and unleash a song! Congratulations to all of our members who performed.
Our songwriters’ positive reviews have been growing. We’ve gone from 30 members to 80 in just 4 months, but according to our audience, the talent is only getting better: In November our group average was 6.92. In December, 6.97. In January, 7.34. In February, 7.55.
