Over the last 20 years Eric Corthell has written short stories, poetry and lyrics. Passionate about music and songwriting, he spends his free time researching and listening to new artists as well as favorites. Eric is truly a consumer of all things music, be it Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Country, Blues, Folk, etc.

In his professional life, Eric has more than 15 years experience in finance. He has worked in mortgage lending, compliance and project management. Eric is currently coordinating the sun setting of a homeownership program with the State of Ohio that assists homeowners who have had financial hardships.

In addition to being part of the Columbus Songwriters Association Eric is also the founder and President of the OHFA Toastmasters club in Downtown Columbus.
